Fleet data reporting and integrations

Tracking data is worth more when it reaches where decisions get made: the operations system, finance, or the weekly management report. This page covers what can genuinely be exported, and what needs verification before we promise it.

Three degrees of "integration"

We separate them because customers usually ask for the third and get offered the first.

Level one — normally available

Manual export

You export the report from the platform in a tabular format and use it however you want.

  • Trip, distance, idling and speed reports
  • Tabular formats that open in spreadsheet software
  • Requires no technical work on your side
Level two — subject to the platform plan

Scheduled reports

The report is sent automatically on a fixed schedule to a chosen inbox.

  • Daily, weekly or monthly scheduling
  • Sent to several recipients by group
  • Removes the dependency on someone remembering to export
Level three — needs verification on both sides

Automated API link

Your system reads data from the platform continuously with no human step.

  • Requires the platform to expose an API for the data you need
  • Requires your system to be able to consume it
  • Requires fields, frequency and usage limits agreed in writing
  • We do not promise this level before testing both sides

How we assess an integration request

  1. Which decision are you supporting?

We start from the use, not the technology. Many "we need an API" requests are solved by a scheduled report, at far less cost and time.

  2. Which fields do you need?

We pin the data down precisely: location, distance, events, temperature, or fuel. Every extra field changes feasibility.

  3. What do both sides support?

We verify what the platform exposes and what your system can consume, and tell you the answer before any financial commitment.

  4. Documentation

What we agree gets written down: fields, frequency, usage limits, and each side's responsibility when something breaks.

A security and privacy note

Fleet data includes information that can be linked to people: a driver's route, their working hours, where they stopped. For any integration, we recommend minimising the fields transferred to what the use genuinely needs, rather than moving everything because it is available.

Credentials and API keys are not sent through website forms or general messages, and are managed with limited, revocable scope. Plate, chassis and IMEI numbers are never published on any public page.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an API?
Whether an API is available depends on the platform, the subscription plan and the fields needed. Tell us what you need to read and at what frequency, and we will answer with what can actually be delivered rather than a generic yes.
We want the data in our ERP
That is a small integration project rather than a setting. It needs field definition, testing on both sides, and a technical owner on yours. We often start with a scheduled report as an interim if it suffices, then build the link.
Can location data feed our delivery order system?
Technically possible in some cases, but an order system needs the order's own data, not just the bike's position. See the delivery fleets page for where the line sits.
